Arthur Chung, PacJade’s Director of Tax, is a Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Certified Tax Adviser. Fluent in English and Mandarin alongside his native Cantonese, Arthur previously worked with a leading Hong Kong audit and tax advisory business preparing and delivering tax advice for clients ranging from SMEs and locally listed companies through to multinational corporations. He has extensive experience on issues including group tax restructuring, investment structures, offshore fund taxation, and operational reviews, as well as tax residencies and reviewing agreements for international business transactions, among other specialisations. Arthur is a Member of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.
A graduate from the University of New South Wales in Australia, Eric has worked in the accounting and audit fields for over 15 years, including management roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO. He worked as manager in charge on several IPOs, RTOs, and major financial due-diligence projects, and his work on audit, accounting, profits tax compliance and filings has covered both private and listed companies across a range of industries with operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and internationally. He is familiar with the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards, the Listing Rules of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the tax rules and regulations in Hong Kong. Eric speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Chairman and a founder-Director of Pacific Jade, Paul is a Chartered Accountant. He specialises in asset management and is currently Investment Director of a Hong Kong-based investment fund which invests in equities, bonds and other investment instruments. He previously worked at Nomura as a trader on its proprietary investment desk.
Peggie is a Senior Company Secretarial Executive with Pacific Jade’s Corporate Services Team. She is a Chartered Secretary, a Chartered Governance Professional and an associate of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute in the United Kingdom. She has over 15 years of experience providing corporate secretarial and compliance services to both listed and private companies in Hong Kong as well as in other offshore countries. She holds Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance from City University of Hong Kong and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
A member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Public Accountants, Adam is PacJade’s Tax Manager with extensive experience covering tax compliance, transaction advisory work, and the administration of employee share option schemes and related stamp duty matters, among a range of other specialisations. Adam previously worked with a leading multinational corporate services provider, providing accounting, tax and audit liaison services for both corporate and private clients including SMEs, private equity firms, SFC-licensed corporations, and high net worth individuals. Adam speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Japanese alongside his native Cantonese.
Allan is a founder-Director of Pacific Jade who first arrived in Hong Kong in 2005 following a 25-year career in national and international journalism during which he won national and international press awards. He has been a founder-investor in several other local business and has advised extensively on media and investor relations issues at Board level within FTSE100 and Hong Kong listed companies.
Kitty is Pacific Jade’s Senior Manager of Corporate Services, with more than 25 years of experience. She has served as named company secretary or joint company secretary for Hong Kong listed companies including state-owned enterprises and an H-share company, and has provided corporate secretarial and compliance services to privately-owned companies in Hong Kong and offshore. Kitty is admitted as a Chartered Secretary, a Chartered Governance Professional and an associate of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute in the United Kingdom. She holds Master’s Degree in Corporate Governance from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Mike is a founder-Director of Pacific Jade who arrived in Hong Kong in 1972 and has lived here ever since. Mike was responsible for setting up Invest HK, the investment promotion agency established by the Hong Kong Government, and was its first Director-General until his retirement in December 2008.
